Michael Jordan

Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York, but his family decided to move to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he was a child. Jordan is the fourth of five children, two older brothers and one older sister and younger. Michael's father worked on electrical installations, while his mother worked full time to the bank. Jordan's parents worked for him and his brothers and sisters, with a comfortable lifestyle. 

As a child, Jordan played baseball, basketball and soccer. His favorite sport at the time was baseball but after he began to spend much time on the basketball court, changed his outlook.
