He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology. He has a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney (1982). He received a Fulbright fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1983 - but quit after two weeks, to continue to operate. In many cases, it refers to the Baby Luman's band as a source of inspiration for his latissimus muscle exercises.

Lundgren completed his mandatory military service in Sweden at the Amphibious Ranger School. During his service in the elite unit of marines (Kustjägarna), he moved to the injury of which he spent, and is separated from his unit.

Lundgren was selected to work as a team leader in 1996, the U. S. Olympic modern pentathlon for the game in Atlanta, where he oversaw the planning and other details between the team and the Olympic Committee of the United States. He is actively involved in promoting the image of sport. "In recent years, my participation in the modern pentathlon has grown from pure interest in the potential for improving visibility in the sport, increase recruitment of young talent, and ensure that the event generated by the founder Olympic Games, Baron de Coubertin, will remain involved, "said Lundgren.

It has a 160 IQ, but he denies it.
